A classic midcentury Ercol daybed designed by Italian Lucian Ercolani. The daybed is a great shape & quality piece of vintage furniture in beech & elm. The attractive frame is steam bent with tapered spindles, arched arm rests & the backrest is formed from a large board of elm. It is designed to function as a large couch & as an occasional single bed so wonderfully flexible. The seat cushions & webbing are brand new & have been newly reupholstered in a green flex. A beautiful piece for a period or contemporary home, very comfortable & in perfect condition.
