An iconic Herbert Terry & Sons Model 1209 (1933 - 1968) anglepoise lamp in near original condition. This 1209 model has the original cream paint finish & original capped springs. This is the version with the longer arms at 47cm (18 inches) rather than the short arm version. The lower arms have three two at the front one to the rear with two springs. The top is constructed with two arms & two springs & the arms fold flat when fully extended. This 1209 model is one up from the original Prototype (1932 - 1933) which had the taller cast base. The Herbert Terry has been pat tested & rewired with new silver twisted cord.
